In the footsteps of John

"In the Footsteps of John" is a musical bibliodrama where actor Tommi Korpela's profound interpretation of the Gospel of John meets organist Pami Karvonen's interpretation of J.S. Bach's touching music. The performance offers an exceptional opportunity to experience the deep connection between word and music in a historical and spiritual journey.

This performance has been born from years of experience and respect for the word and music, inspired by previous projects of Korpela and Karvonen. The texts of the Gospel and their sequence have been selected through musical forms. Come along on the journey with John – it is a journey whose impact extends far beyond the performance itself.

The concert is organized in collaboration with the Tikkurila parish.
