Virtuosic and breathtakingly beautiful concertos performed by the virtuosos of the BRQ Vantaa Ensemble! The concert begins with diverse concertos for recorder, violin, and oboe d’amore, and the evening is crowned by Antonio Vivaldi's majestic Laudate Pueri, featuring soprano Piia Komsi as the soloist.
The concert program has been delicately chosen to highlight the diversity and dynamics of Baroque music, offering listeners a chance to experience both intimate and grand moments in music. The acoustics of the medieval Church of Saint Lawrence accentuate the delicate timbres of Baroque instruments, thus the emotional power of the music and the musicians' technical virtuosity reach the listener in a natural way.
