Tommi Korpela

Actor and screenwriter Tommi Korpela graduated from the Theatre Academy in 1995. In addition to television and film work, Korpela has also made a significant career on the stages of various theaters. He played his first leading role in a film in Peter Lindholm's "Isältä pojalle" (From Father to Son) in 1996. Since then, Korpela has acted in over 50 films as well as numerous television movies and series. Korpela has guest-starred in numerous Finnish theaters such as Q-Theatre, Espoo City Theatre, Ryhmäteatteri, and the Finnish National Theatre. Korpela has been frequently awarded with both the Jussi and Venla awards, as well as numerous international recognitions. Tommi Korpela is among the most successful Finnish performing artists.
