Samppa Laakso

Samppa Laakso has studied church music at the Sibelius Academy, majoring in organ. In 2005, Laakso graduated with honours in organ with an A-level degree under the guidance of Markku Hietaharju. He has participated in several master classes in Finland and abroad, and has given concerts across Finland and on the Finnish Radio. Samppa Laakso has also studied Gregorian and medieval vocal music, conducts the Corvus Laurencij choir, which specialises in this, and is a member of the Schola Sancti Henrici vocal ensemble. Samppa Laakso is the leading church musician in the Tikkurila parish.
